 \nThis is a beautiful Father &amp\; Daughter Exhibition\nBruce Murray (lef
 t image)\nWoman Clay high-fired Stoneware\nHis work is the culmination of 
 forty years of intense observation of line and color and thousands of raw 
 material tests. Murray has made a group of stoneware paintings which   p
 rovide nourishment for both the body and the spirit.  These current piece
 s are sensuous\, fierce\, and thrilling.  The intense over-glazes contras
 t with the complex muted backgrounds and borders which\, in some cases ten
 d to offer some control over the often errant and misbehaving colors which
  are the life of the work.\nMadeleine Murray (right image)\nCall Me in Apr
 il Acrylic on Unstretched canvas\nMadeleine Murray’s paintings are about
  the unspoken dialogue between love and loss\, amusement and sadness\, hol
 dable objects and hard-to-grasp feelings. Slightly haunted spaces that flo
 at in joyful ways beyond the canvas invite viewers to bathe in color\, fin
 d glimmers of recognition\, and escape into personal interpretation. Featu
 ring piles of long-saved trinkets and zooming in on the edges between cons
 tructed shelters and the natural world\, her compositions are rooted in an
  archaeological desire to uncover and make meaning without a complete stor
 y.\n\n\n
