DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nDerek Burkins is a Vermont-based singer-songwriter known 
 for his fluid guitar and banjo work and authentic\, emotive storytelling a

 writing Competition and a finalist in the Advance Music Singer/Songwriter 
 Competition\, he crafted many of his songs during February Album Writing M
 onth (FAWM). His debut album\, Ten Years and 29 Days (2013)\, reflects a d
 ecade of songwriting and was recorded with contributions from Katie Trautz
  and Jim Gilmour. With nearly 40 years of guitar experience\, along with b
