SUMMARY:Live Music with Madonna Gordon at Harry's Cocktail Lounge in Queche
 e!
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nMadonna Gordon is a jazz vocalist and bassist who can be
heard in and around the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire with var
ious musicians and small groups. Her main joy is in making music that spea
ks to the spirit\, and brings people into a space where they can set aside
their cares and differences and simply have a good time.\n\nShe got her s
tart in music very early on playing piano and singing in multiple choirs a
nd ensembles. In college she discovered her love for jazz\, gospel\, and b
lues\, which led her eventually to pick up the bass (much later on!) and t
ackle jazz from the instrumental side.\n\nShe has been fortunate to be act
ive with the local Interplay Jazz and Arts community (interplayjazzandarts
.org)\, through whom she has studied voice with Madeline Kole (madelinekol
e.com) and furthered her bass playing.\n\n\n\n\n\n Add to calendar\n\n\n\
