Pomfret Contra Dance

The Pomfret Historical Society is pleased to announce a community social dance as part of their 250th celebration events this year. Potluck desserts will be featured at the break. There will be a family dance session beginning at 7:00. The dance will be based on the format of historical social dance cards from 1905 in the Pomfret Historical Society collection. Individual dance cards will be handed out. David Millstone will be the caller accompanied by musicians Carol Compton and Thal Aylward. Admission is $15-20 for adults, $10 for students, and children are free.
