  on Talharpas – a traditional bowed lyre\, popular in Northern Europe si
 nce the early Middle Ages and played on Western Estonian islands until the
  beginning of 20th century. Combining talharpas with modern effects\, loop
 s\, and cascading vocals Ramo Teder and Marko Veisson create an electrifyi
 ng original sound that must be seen live to fully experience.\n\n\n\n\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\nPuuluup is two talharpa enthusiasts\, Ramo Teder and Marko Veisso
 n. Ramo Teder is a multi-instrumentalist and a looping pioneer in Estonia 
 and has mastered these skills for twenty years. Marko Veisson has a backgr
 ound in anthropology\, and his fieldwork in Northern Ghana as well as his 
 love for West-African music have definitely influenced Puuluup’s style. 
 They play their own compositions on Talharpas – a traditional bowed lyre
 \, popular in Northern Europe since the early Middle Ages and played on We
 stern Estonian islands until the beginning of 20th century.\n\nThey joined
  forces with 5MIINUST to represent Estonia in the 2024 Eurovision Song Con
 test. They made it to the finals\, where they place ninth out of 25 compet
 itors.\n\n\n\n\n
