 tury SKIP GORMAN has enjoyed singing\, playing and performing an impress
 ive and varied palette of traditional American and Celtic folk music. As a
 n accomplished singer\, guitarist\, fiddler and mandolinist\, Gorman has c
 ompleted over 18 recordings of old time cowboy songs\, fiddle\, mandolin\,
  bluegrass and been featured on many others\, and established his own reco
 rd label\, Old West Recordings.\n\nHis recordings have earned a prestigiou
 s NAIRD (INDIE) award\, and been selected as a top ten folk pick of the ye
 ar by Amazon.com. Filmmaker Ken Burns has used Skip’s original music on 
 four of his celebrated documentaries. He has appeared on Garrison Keillor
 ’s A Prairie Home Companion\, toured with the US Embassy in Chile\, Arge
 ntina and Paraguay\, performed at World Fiddle Day in Co. Kerry\, Ireland\
 , and taught at numerous music camps in America and the British Isles.\n\n
 When he was a teenager\, MARK BURDS left suburban life in Massachusetts 
 to move to a cabin with his parents in Chelsea\, Vermont. Soon after he fe
 ll in love with the guitar playing of Tony Rice and Norman Blake\, and beg
 an mixing those traditional bluegrass influences with more experimental ac
