 \n\nThe Soggy Po Boys\, native to New England\, have quickly become an in
 stitution.\n​They are spreading the good news of New Orleans music acros
 s the northeast and beyond\,\nplaying at concert halls and street corners\
 ; music festivals and burlesque festivals\;\nbars and libraries\; wherever
  the party requires.\nPart of the beauty of New Orleans music is that it's
  celebrated and appreciated wherever it goes\, from the street to the thea
 ter.\n\nThe Po Boys formed in 2012 to shake the walls of a local club on a
  Fat Tuesday\nbut have honed their sound and become more than a Mardi Gras
  centerpiece.\nExploring the vast musical traditions of New Orleans and ex
 panding their repertoire\nto look beyond NOLA jazz\, the band includes tra
 ditional Caribbean tunes\n(it’s been said that New Orleans is the northe
 rnmost city in the Caribbean)\,\nas well as Meters funk\, soul\, and brass
  band / street beat music.\n\nThere are a myriad of traditions that flow i
 nto New Orleans culture just as there\nare tributaries that feed the Missi
 ssippi\, and the Po Boys are eager to explore\nwhat makes the music of New
  Orleans so damn special.\nYou’ll hear the heavy influence of the New Or
 leans sound across the band\nand in the stories told by their original tun
