DESCRIPTION:Sunday Series Talks in Tunbridge\n\n\nThe free Sunday Series be
 gins Jan. 4 at the Tunbridge Public Library. The series features two progr
 ams a month at 2 p.m. January through March. They include rule of law\, co
 vered bridges\, moose\, herbs\, back to the land and a family program abou
 t music.\n\n• Jan. 4: "The Rule of Law in Uncertain Times." Jared Carter
  i is a longtime professor and veteran attorney who regularly advocates fo
 r social\, legal and economic justice. He directs the Vermont Community La
 w Center at Vermont Law and Graduate School.\n\n• Jan. 18: Family progra
 m "The Violin Family Plays . . ." Cellist Melissa Perley\, author of two c
 hildren's books about the violin family\, is a performer and teacher who w
 as recently invited to be a representative for the Children's Literacy Fou
 ndation.\n\n• Feb. 1: 'Resourcing for Resilience: Herbal Medicine &amp\;
  Deep Earth Connection." Tunbridge herbalist and holistic health practitio
 ner Alanna Birch's immersive program will introduce the sensory qualities 
 and unique personalities of various herbs.\n\n• Feb. 15: "Back to the La
 nd." Tunbridge residents including Louise Barreda\, Judie Lewis and Henry 
 Swayze will reminisce about their lives near the end of the back-to-the-la
 nd movement. Audience recollections welcome.\n\n• March 1: "An Inside Lo
 ok at Vermont's Moose." Josh Blouin\, a wildlife biologist with the Vermon
 t Fish and Wildlife Department\, manages Wildlife Management Areas\, revie
 ws development projects for impacts on wildlife and their habitats\, and s
 upports bear and moose research.\n\n• March 15: "Preserving Vermont's Co
 vered Bridges." The Vermont Covered Bridge Society was started in 2000 to 
 address the loss of these bridges and to preserve remaining bridges. Tunbr
 idge is one of five towns with five surviving bridges.\n\n
