n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDerek Burkins captures praise and new

he plaintive and determined lament of “Tobacco Farmer’s Daughter” to
the joy of a life well-lived in “The Sweetest Girl I Know\,” from lov
e lost in “When Morning Comes Around” to forgiveness gained in “Take
Me Home.”\nDerek has been playing guitar for almost 40 years\, picking
up clawhammer banjo and mandolin in the more recent decades. For much of h
is life\, his primary instrument was trumpet and he spent fours years in t
he Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam playing trumpet\, singing\, and t
aking music courses while pursuing a double degree in education and geolog
 y. He then spent ten years playing trumpet in orchestras\, jazz combos\, a
nd small brass ensembles while also continuing to perform as a singer/song
writer. Derek has enjoyed playing for audiences with hundreds of performa
nces\, success in many songwriting competitions\, and an ever-growing comm
unity of students and wonderful fans\, for which he is extremely grateful.
 \n\n8:00 PM Bob and Sarah Amos\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBob &a
mp\; Sarah Amos present a wide variety of songs in a captivating and inti

Bob’s diverse musical catalog\, plus a few of their favorite traditional
covers.\n\n9:00 PM The Rough and Tumble\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
\n\n\nThe Rough &amp\; Tumble is the dynamic folk-rock duo of Mallory Grah
am and Scott Tyler\, known for their magnetic harmonies\, heartfelt songwr
 iting\, and unmistakable on-stage chemistry. Blending roots\, Americana\,
and pop-leaning melodies\, their music is both intimate and joy-filled—s
ongs about love\, resilience\, and finding beauty in the everyday. Whether
trading verses\, harmonizing in unison\, or inviting the audience into th
e moment\, The Rough &amp\; Tumble create performances that feel personal
and communal at once. With a growing national following and a reputation f
or leaving rooms a little lighter than they found them\, their music remin
ds us why we gather around songs in the first place.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
