 nThe Funky Flats\nThe Funky Flats are a high energy funk band of “flatla
 nders” residing in the Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire.
  The band was formed in 2023 when working musician friends came together t
 o express their love for funky music.\n\nThe Funky Flats’ style is origi
 nal funky music inspired by the scratchy guitars\, bright brassy horns and
  tight rhythm sections of the 1970s funk masters.\n\nIn 2024\, the band co
 mpleted recording a four song\, EP entitled “Home Cookin’ ”\, which 
 was completely written\, performed\, recorded\, engineered and mastered by
  the band. they also performed at four music festivals in the New England 
 region.\n\nIn 2025 the band seeks to take things to the next level and sec
 ure some opening slots at larger festivals. They will also be recording a 
 live album at The Underground Recording Studio and listening room in Rando
 lph\, VT.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
