The String Queens (TSQ) is a dynamic trio of school teachers by day and concert performers by night. With a wide-ranging repertoire that bounces effortlessly from classical to pop to jazz, TSQ’s versatile programs take listeners on a thrilling musical journey.

TSQ’s innovative work in the field of music education has been widely acknowledged by Carnegie Hall, DC Jazz Festival, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and a partnership with the Save the Music Foundation. Through Save the Music, the trio presented a series of professional development workshops for performing arts educators on “Social Emotional Learning in the Arts Classroom” and “Trauma-Informed Arts Classrooms” as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, TSQ released its third album, Rise, which includes unique arrangements of timeless classics by Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and more.
