DESCRIPTION:\n\nMusic Helps presents New England roots group Triton (Jeremi
 ah McLane\, Timothy Cummings) and friends (McKinley James\, cello\, and Ma
 ry Wesley\, dance caller) live at the West Newbury Town Hall\, Friday\, Ju
 ne 5th at 7pm!\nJoin us for a night of tunes\, songs\, dancing\, and snack
 s! There will be a concert followed by a balfolk dance party\, taught and 
 led by Mary Wesley. No experience or partners necessary!\nProceeds benefit
  Music Helps\, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to music educati

  is a $20 suggested donation. Refreshments will be available.\nFrom festiv
 als and intimate house concerts\, to BalFolk\, Breton\, and New England co
 ntra dances\, Triton moves body and soul alike. Hailing from Vermont and C
 anada\, Triton offers music rooted in the traditional dance repertoire of 
 Northwestern Europe. The repertoire includes bourrées from central France
 \, triple-time hornpipes from the Scottish Borders\, the Swedish slängpol
 ska\, the Breton hanter dro\, and compelling originals reflecting these in
 fluences. Unified by their zeal and musical craftsmanship\, their performa
 nces are also punctuated with engaging commentary on the music and instrum

 ng in Montreal. She soloed with the Filarmónica del Café in Colombia in 
 2022 and the Champlain Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017. She has played with
  the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra\, Middlebury College Orchestra\, McGill
  Symphony Orchestra\, Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal\, and the New Eng
 land Conservatory Symphony. McKinley also toured in China with her piano t
 rio in 2018.\nMary Wesley is a dance leader\, caller\, and organizer for c
 ontras\, squares\, morris\, and family and community dances. A native of V
 ermont\, she travels throughout New England and beyond to follow and share
