Art at the South Royalton Market!

Art brings communities together! This is why we feature local artists in our Cafe Art Space every month. Often just one artist is featured, and their work is usually for sale. Sometimes we exhibit the collective works of local school art classes, child care centers, library book clubs and the like.

Peter Neri-CATS (charcoal & graphite): I have always had cats as pets and have been attracted to their bigger feline counterparts, so these were the subjects I turned to when I began working in charcoal and graphite over the Covid pandemic. Previously, I drew in pen & ink. Neri is also a local musician and a programmer at WFVR in South Royalton, hosting the show “One Guitar” which airs on Mondays from 2-3 PM on Tuesday and Saturday. 96.5 FM and royaltonradio.org!

Jeanne McMahan-Local Paintings: Four paintings are all representations from local hot spots. 1. Hurricane Flats in South Royalton. 2. White River in South Royalton. 3. Sugar Bush in Sharon. 4. Morrill Mountain in South Strafford. The four paintings also were painted in the 4 Seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.
