Spoon Carving with Andre Souligney

Join special guest instructor Andre Souligney for this introductory demonstration and workshop. Discover the tools, techniques, art of transforming freshly harvested green wood into personal wooden spoons for use in cooking, serving, and eating. Learn and practice safe knife holds and basic carving techniques, explore ways to comfortably and safely hold the work, and be introduced to drying, finishing, and embellishing.
