La Muchacha y el Propio Junte – Colombian folk rock
Manizales-born artist, Isabel Ramirez Ocampo, has set out to create as a collective, experimenting with new sounds with double bass and drums to her usual vocals and guitar. La Muchacha taps into folk and rock to sing with beautiful devotion about the challenges facing current-day Colombia. Joining her are Miguel Velásquez Matijasevic (Los Cotopla Boyz) on double bass and Camilo Bartelsman (1280 Almas) on percussion. Together, they have forged a symbiotic relationship between songwriting and collective musical vibes.
