Enjoy this beloved masterwork in its seldom-heard complete form. Handel’s keen sense of theater is on abundant display, with gorgeous arias performed by over a dozen vocal soloists, alternating with virtuosic and dramatic choruses. Listeners will take delight in the authentic sounds created by orchestra musicians on their period instruments.
