A Tribute to Bob Weir

Friday, April 3, 7:30 PM

This show is SOLD OUT!

Soulful singer/guitarist Zach Nugent (Melvin Seals & JGB, Phil Lesh & Friends) returns to LOH to celebrate the life and legacy of Grateful Dead co-founder Bob Weir.

With his band Dead Set and guest vocalist Sunshine Garcia Becker, the noted Vermont-based Grateful Dead expert presents two mind-expanding sets of music from across Weir’s expansive career.

Whether its signature Dead songs featuring Bobby’s lead vocals (Sugar Magnolia and Truckin’) or his work with RatDog and Wolf Bros, Nugent digs deep into Weir’s rich musical catalog for one special evening.

Choose your own adventure! In an effort to keep the atmosphere friendly and fun, we’re offering two seating experiences for this performance:

  • If you’d like to sit close to the action with the freedom to stand and groove, choose a General Admission ticket in the orchestra level. Orchestra seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If you’d prefer to have an assigned location where those around you remain seated during the show, grab a Reserved ticket in the balcony.

Registration is encouraged. Please consider adding a suggested donation of $20 per ticket to your order; your support will help us offer more barrier-free community events in the future.

This performance is free of charge thanks to the generous support of Bill & Jane Stetson and Nancy & James Sweat.

The Stetson and Sweat families encourage attendees to consider a contribution (in Bobby’s memory) to the Furthur Foundation. For more than 30 years, Furthur has been supporting progressive groups working on environmental and social change issues in the Bay Area and around the world.
