Come honor these longest nights and walk an Evergreen Spiral! Place a light along the spiral to express your heart’s gratitudes and griefs. A brief poem about the light is welcome—not required! This is an inclusive, generally spiritual, non religious gathering.
Lights are provided by us –though you make like to make your own and take it home, blessed with the communal light. Making ICE VOTIVES: Easiest: Take a pint size jar, place in quart size plastic container with four pieces of tape to hold the empty pint jar, lining up the mouths. Fill only quart jar , pint is empty. Freeze . Loosen and leave outdoors until dec 21st. You can google lots of versions to make.
While we each take a turn: Optional Sing along: Those who wish can use the song sheet provided to sing simple songs and rounds like “This Little Light of Mine”, “Rise Up O Flame”, etc. Have a song dear to you about the light you want to share, lead or teach me beforehand to lead for you, reach out.
