High Drive is the dynamic duo of fiddler Beth Telford and guitarist/vocalist Justin Park, rooted in central VT. Beth has been immersed in traditional music since the 1980s — from New England contra-dances to years studying under legendary Cape Breton fiddler Jerry Holland, who became her mentor and friend. She teaches fiddle, including here at Seven Stars Arts Center, and continues to run the fiddle camps she and Jerry founded together. Justin has been playing since childhood, drawn to the traditional music of the world, and brings driving rhythm guitar and vocals to the duo. Together, High Drive delivers a captivating blend of Cape Breton, Celtic, and folk music.
