For the past ten years Bob has been performing with his daughter Sarah Amos, a vocalist of remarkable power and sensitivity.
Bob and Sarah have put together an ensemble that has been described as a Vermont Bluegrass Supergroup with three talented pros of the New England acoustic music scene, with Taylor Armerding on mandolin, Andy Greene on guitar and Kirk Lord on bass.
And they have a new cd out!
The Bob & Sarah Amos Band provide a highly entertaining program, ranging from powerful, bluesy bluegrass to beautiful ballads, which is sure to please all fans of acoustic music. Guitarist/banjoist/vocalist Bob Amos is an internationally recognized, award winning bluegrass/folk/americana singer-songwriter who has recorded twelve acclaimed albums and performed throughout the USA and Europe for over 30 years. Singout! magazine has called Bob, “one of the most interesting and intelligent songwriters in American music”.
The acclaimed Vermont father-daughter duo Bob & Sarah Amos have been on a roll, with a recent #1 song and #1 album on the national folk charts, and a live show that has
been called “mesmerizing” and a “must see”.
