Thursday Rumney Sessions – Mowgli Giannitti + Heavy Nettles
This Thursday we welcome for the first time *Mowgli Giannitti* and the *Heavy
Nettles* to the Rumney Barn.
Bassist, Singer, and Multi-Instrumentalist Mowgli Giannitti (*Ida Mae
Specker, Heavy Nettles, Silas Hamilton*) brings his all-star trio featuring
some of VT's finest pickers. Firmly rooted in the Bluegrass sound, the band
effortlessly flows between Celtic Ballads, Jazz Standards, Brazilian Samba,
and original songs inspired by a diverse and eclectic range of music.
Mowgli is a Burlington-Based musician who has toured locally and
internationally, been featured on stages such as Carnegie Hall and the
Nickelsdorf Jazz Festival, and performed with legends such as Yo-Yo Ma,
Edmar Colon, and more.
