Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light is a Boston-based acoustic string band blending folk, bluegrass, and poetic, lyric-forward songwriting. Led by singer-songwriter Rachel Sumner, with Kat Wallace (fiddle/vocals) and Mike Siegel (upright bass/vocals), they are known for their intimate, intricate sound. They won the Telluride Bluegrass Festival band competition, and heard on NPR’s Tiny Desk.
